Women Ride at Milwaukee Rally,
Proceeds Benefit Milwaukee Police Department

Scooter crash113 women rode last week from the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee, WI. to raise money to provide motorcycle trauma training to the Milwaukee Police Department. The police escorted ride had one lady rider for each year Harley-Davidson has been making bikes. The ride was sold out for 5 weeks as many women came out to ride with other women.

The Milwaukee Rally Women's Ride had perfect weather Friday for its journey along the Lake Michigan shore, rolling west to the beautiful landscape of Holy Hill. George Webb's restaurant sponsored a refreshment break half way through and the ride ended at a Seven Seas, a 4 star restaurant in Hartland with a silent auction. The fabulous Women In Motion Road Guardians took over the job of escorting the group once we left the MPD jurisdiction.

"So what we're doing is raising money to provide specific motorcycle training with the Milwaukee Police Department," explained Head Road Captain and ride coordinator Vicki Sanfelipo. "We'll start by training 42 cadets in the very near future as part of their training."
